Well, we have finally arrived in Greece. Sean sat next for a very friendly man named Steve. Steve is originally from Maryland but married a Greek woman and has lived in Greece for 20 years. He spent the entire time telling Sean where we should go, what we should do, and how we should do it! I on the other hand sat next to a younger Greek gentleman who literally jumped out of his seat the second the fasten seat belt sign when off and relocated to another row on the plane. Hmmmm….I swear I showered that morning!
Once in Athens, we took a taxi to our hotel. From there we headed out and walked around the Plaka. The Plaka is located at the base of the Acropolis and is full of shops and delicious restaurants. By this time it was getting late so we settled on a restaurant with an INCREDIBLE view of the Parthenon from our table. We had our first of many Greek Salads which was to die for.

| Yummm! |
After we walked around some more, stopped for a couple of beers and then called it a night. Tomorrow we are headed to Santorini and our Ferry leaves at some ridiculous time like 7am!
